I bottled my latest batch of IPA, the Penelope 1.3, last weekend and will likely sample one this weekend along with the lager we bottled the weekend before. I also recieved a new grain mill in the mail so crushing grains is no longer a problem. The Saison shoild get bottled this weekend and I believe Ernie and I are all ready to go to the Big Brew 2013. good times

We were at near capacity in the Brewhouse. 20 gallons in fermenters and only 3 cases of empty bottles. I suppose I need to drink more. last weekend I brewed up my last batch of Penny's IPA. v1.3. Then We brewed 10 gallons of a Saison. This weekend we bottled our lager and it looks and tastes very promising.
On a much sadder note while packing up after brewing the Saison, I dropped the auger for my grain mill and tyhe grinding plate broke. This mill hjas served me quite well for a long time and i am sorry to see it go. We have plans for many more beers, I of course have another phinywieze and Penny IPA.
