Ernie and I had a double brewday Sunday. Lager and an Amber ale that is to be finished on bourbon soaked oak chips. The Lager is a corn ajunct premium lager that will hopefully finish at less than 4% ABV. I'm hoping this will be a good brew for the uninitiated and if it's any good we're sending to the comp in the fair. The Amber came up a little short on the OG reading but it still ought to be quite tastey. Next up hopefully will be my penelope IPA. This will be the final tweak of the original recipe. perhaps in may or june I will make my Penelope IPA 2.0, this I'm thinking will be my first experience in using NewZealand hop varieties. I'm still working out what they may be. I also have reformulated my Phinyweizen and feel real good about it. I may make a small batch before the summer to test it out
