On a lighter note, PIPA has been bottled and sampled. The Phinyweizen is coming around. The Nut Brown was bottled last night and shows some promise. Ernie and I sampled the bourbon oak version and it was exquisite. I also pulled the trigger and bought a kegging setup. It was neccesary. now to fill it up.
In anticipation of the 18th annual Montgomery County agricultural Fair Homebrew competition, I brewed up a special batch of Penelope IPA (PIPA) and Pinyweizen. Sadly though, the competition has been canceled. I am not quite sure why but until I am I can only assume that last years BOS was the greatest homebrew of all time and nothing could possibly compare to it so why continue the competition. As such I declare myself the reigning champion because, as we all know, to be the best you have to beat the best. Since nobody has beaten me I remain the champion and will act in accordance with such title and accept all accolades, honors and responsibilities of it. Thank you again.
