Next up is a nut brown. The first Saison was bottled 1 week ago and its getting there. Not quite carbed up enough. The second 5 gallons was bottled on fri so we probably wont sample it for 2 weeks. My IPA came out....OK..... It isnt quite bitter enough for my tastes but the consensus seems to be that it will pass muster. The lager is spot on for a Premium American Lager and will go to competition if it lasts long enough. The 1 and one Pale ale is quickly disapearing and i fear w may have to rebrew it, it was that good.
Saturday was the BIg Brew. Ernie and I went to MDHB along with 100 or so other brewers. We brewed 10 gallons of Phinyweizen and in keeping with the spirit of the event we brewed the AHA big Brew recipe for the Blonde. all was quite well. We met alot of nice people who were very generous with their suds and willing to sample ours. Good times
